Hi Ken, I was hoping you had some big plans for Thursday cuz I need you Ken, you have always been there for me, like you are now. I need to hear you say you remember when we met, and all the next hours where we bonded by holding hands, and hearing you say you love me. I will always remember that. Do you remember what we were listening to? It was just after the rain and you were drying off, laying on the couch, rubbing my feet to keep them warm. It was so good to feel you near me, we had all the time in the world.

I knew maybe sometime you’d have to go, but not forever, no, not forever. I remember the song, it was about loneliness, how a little child alone in the playground with no one to push her on the swing. I felt like you were that person for me, that you’d always be there to push me, to make me feel alive, and precious. Ken, it’s that way now, it’s all come back to us.
